I have the Revloc auto clutch on my 2002 550fc and love it. It came with the bike and I tried it out for the first time in Moab last week and it work wonderfully. No cutting out on steep hills, I thought it was great for people who do allot of trail riding.
 
almost in tears.

won the rekluse for £140. retail in uk is £350.

hadn't visited ebay for a couple of days and the seller has posted it won't fit an '03. guess what year my berg is.

anyway have emailed the seller. on the bright side least he was honest enough to say that and i hadn't sent payment which was more luck than judgement.
 
Why Wont It Fit The '03 Case? AFAIK The Internals Are The The Same From '01-'03 Then They Changed Slightly For The Later 2 Piece Cases?
Maybe Someone Can Answer Who Knows More Than Me?
 
just conversing with him at moment. i actually reckon that the supplier has sent him the wrong drive plates. thats all.
just going to search the site for a cluth drive plate pic to compare with the ones on his advert.
 
Cypher, be careful. I got a Rekluse for my '03 back in Sept 2004...since then, Charles Hanzel at Rekluse told me that they have stopped supporting the product JUST for year 2003. 2003 has a "hybrid" of several clutches...not quite 2002, not quite 2004. It's nothing to do with the cases...the thowout is different than 2004 and the inner hub does not have cog design like the 2002 and prior, but instead it has driving sleeves (hollow pins). I returned mine for credit.
 
'driving sleeves' wondered what the cylinder things were called.

damn think i'm going to leave it.

also saw that ned37 had one for sale and as you say he'd listed it 89-02. almost gave him a call.

emailed the seller now. suggested he might want to try getting a refund from where he bought it.

Taffy, MY bike is an 04, don't/did'nt need the whole side cover, just the clutch cover and Dan had one at moab. the bike runs great, Well, I need to pull the crab and clean it out real good, it had so much oil in it I think that is what made BOSS think I had a jetting issue because of the really bad stumble off the bottom. As the day wore on, I just got more oil in it and it started to run really poorly... just need to fix my bars... thanks for thinking of me..

re the rekluse clutch, I'm the seller.
its not until I was asked if it would fit an 04 that I really looked at the thing as I have an 04 clutch as a spare and the centre hub and outer hub are the same as my 03 (well the outer is lighter so I'm using that) its at this point it dawned on me that the drive plates supplied with the rekluse would not fit my clutch, hence why I put it in the add that it wont fit 03 Husabergs like the official UK seller says it will, bit miffed by that, unfortunately I bought it privately.

So anyone want a UNUSED Rekluse clutch that fits 89-02 Husabergs I'll be putting it back up on Ebay latter.
