Great pics, it been too long since I was down there.

How did you carry your extra fuel? What kind of range do you have with your setup compared to the ktm's with big tanks?

totally jealous, too long since i've been to mex  looks like you had an awesome time!!! thanks for sharing the pics!!!

I had installed the 70 degree racing subframe tank, that got me too 3 gallons, pretty much the same as the KTMs I was riding with. On long stretches a lot of us used the MSR Dromdary bags to carry another gallon.

Jake, would you please elaborate on the use of MSR Dromidary Bags for fuel? Did you use the cap with the folding spigot that it comes with, or did you replace it with something else? Any leaks or problems?

In our group we had 5 or 6 guys with them including myself. All with the original little spiggot. Most were 4 liters mine was a 6. I used the straps it comes with to attach it to the shoulder straps on my camel back backpack. Others placed them in their side Mohave bags, and I thInk one guy strapped it onto his Handel bars. No leaks, no trouble of any kind. Don't smoke around them. Ride a while dump them and fold them up into a pack. They work great.

Great pictures thanks for sharing and great to hear the Berg didn't fail either.
Those "MSR Dromidary Bags" you used for fuel, are they the ones designed for water?
Is it Dromidary or Dromedary?

The one in the link is correct. Be sure you buy the BLACK one, they make a red one also that's much thinner.

Curious, but what towns did you stop in along the way? Specifically, what town was it where the church was and the little girl skipping away?
