Replace connecting rod ?

Hello, i have a question about when i should replace the connection rod on my FE 501 -97. The servicebook says 200 h but some people say that i should replace it after 50 h :shock: and some says that i can use it for 400 h.

Lifespan will vary depending on usage. It is always best to measure the wear and replace when out of spec.

Forget about it, the lower end is pretty stout on those. If it ever fails it is not worth fixing (from a standpoint of investment vs value). been there, done that (twice) and never learn.

Ok, thanks. Better to replace 50 h to soon than 1 minute to late.
