I have 25 hr on my 05 550 and 28 hr on my 05 450 ,zero trouble, and still counting.

80% RACE, scrambles, enduros, the rest of the time trail

2005 FE550
128 hrs no problems, oil changed every 2nd ride filter every 4th.
Bike did have piston and liner fitted at 8 hrs (my fault i bailed it and broke the water pump cover, didnt notice til it overheated and started smoking).
So its done 120 hrs which includes about 20 enduros and the rest trail riding and its been fine. easily as reliable as anything else out there !!
