WIRING PROBLEMS

OK
MY REGULATOR/RECTIFIERBOX HAS 3 YELLOW CABLES IN FOR AC, AND 2 CABLES OUT FOR DC, RED AND BLACK.

HOW CAN I CONNECT THE 2 YELLOW AND THE BLUE ONE FROM STATOR ?

THE BOX IS 7*10 CM IN ALUMINIUM WITH BIG COOLING RIBS, ITS A MARK ON IT "RS41 AND 22" AND IT HAS 8 SIDES (4 LONG AND 4 SHORT) AND THE CABLES FOLLOWS: R,Y,B,Y,Y FROM LEFT TO RIGHT SEEN FROM INLET AND TOP OF THE BOX........

Hi ANKAN,

The connector with 2 yellow and 1 blue wire comes from my stator. They are not grounded on the Berg.

The blue wire is a lead that connects to the common (tied together electrically) ends of the 2 AC power windings. The 2 yellow leads are the other ends of those 2 windings.

The other connector is one of 2 that come from the rectifier module. That connector has 3 yellow leads going to it. By looking at the following pictures, you can determine which lead goes to the common blue lead in the other connector.

The Heat sink on the rectifier module is grounded to the Berg battery negative pole and to the Berg frame.

I am not sure what you are trying to do, the SEM ignitions changed back and forth in the 2001-2003 years, and are not necessarily interchangable, so check your grounding and schematics from the model years you are trying to integrate on your Berg.

Here are the pictures, Good Luck,

Joe

ANKAN,
