Rear spindle

Is the chain adjusting block (the gauge against the swinging arm) fixed on the non-threaded end of the rear spindle?

If so, how do these fit?

some one else might know but i 'think' that they are pressed on under a lot of pressure.

I’ve been told they are screwed on with a bit of locktite, so a bit of twisting and heat might help!

Yep, threaded on, heat up to loosen loctite with axle in vice (soft jaws) use large shifter on flats of block, no problems! We sold heaps of those bling kits on new bikes, but idiots who over tighten everything often broke that chain adjuster so easy fix!
