One of the caliper guide pins on the rear caliper is bent and is wearing the pads at an angle. I unscrewed it to try and straigten it out, but just mangled the threads. I searched bikebandit.com but the schematic doesnt show the pin as a single unit. It shows it as part of the caliper as a whole. I cant imagine you'd have to buy a whole caliper just for a new guide pin.

There is a part number on the list, #18, that calls it a "CUP SET SHORT". Is this the part I need to order? The schematic is a little misleading because of the name and the fact that it only point to one pin. Any input is much apprecitated.

best bet would be to call a dealer and ask them if they can get a replacement, surely they can get you one without the whole calliper

I had a worn one on my xr600 that we welded and ground back......turned out pretty good to
