rear brake

I just got back from a quick squirt and found the back brake had been dragging ,the whole plot was red hot, the lever wasn't out of adjustment or anything like that and once it cooled down it was all free again. I checked the Piston and slides and they were all free and not sticking, just wondering if anyone else has struck this or not, cheers matt
