Hey Hi,

if I knew where to get one of these I could bring along next week.
From the 18th of July I ´m on vacation in California.
Where is your headquarter?
Maybe I can come around.....

But first of all I have to know what you need. I have a big KTM dealer in range
About 20 km away.

greetings

that would be outstanding!we are in Vacaville CA.It is abot 50 miles ast of Oakland and about 40 miles west of Sacramento.check out the map.dan.

Oh yes,
I just checked out the map.
Vacaville may not be exactly in the range of our california tour.
Our first target is San Francisco, and then we´re heading in southern direction to LA and San Diego.
Maybe I can convince my girlfriend of detouring a bit
or I´ll leave this sprocket at Lineaweaver´s shop. I think I will pay him a visit.
How many miles/hours is Vacaville from San Francisco?
Are there any sightseeings in this area?

vacaville is about an hour from S.F.if traffic is good, about 55 miles.the only interesting place in vacaville is MotoXotica :joker: altho some may disagree.however, the Napa Valley is on the way and it is nice to see.to be honest,i would not expect you to go out of your wat .just getting it in north america would be worth a big thank you.dan.

Hi,

me again.
Only to be sure:
Is it a part like
this ??

But your customer wants the ultralite version from Renthal?
What´s so special about it?
I can´t imagine right now?
First I have to call the KTM dealer if he has anything stock.
And if so I can bring it along to Brett Saunders. San Franciso sounds good.

this guy spends crazy money making his bikes special.he likes the renthal front sprocket because it has large lightening holes.i looked on the renthal website in england and it looks like the part # is R-304U-16. the r is renthal, the series is 304 ,the u for ultralte and the 16 for the #of teeth.see if you can do this without too much trouble.thanx,dan.

Crap, just take a KTM sprocket and
drill some holes in it.Then have it
chromed,that should make him happy.

I hope this guy isn't a 325 pounder wanting to shave 3oz. of weight by having holes in his front sprocket. 8)

Hi Dan,

I´m sorry to say that I´m not able to get one of the renthal sprockets.
Today I phoned with Sommer KTM, one of the biggest KTM dealers here in Germany.
They told me that they don´t have them stock.
The manager director told me that he thinks that nobody needs a part like that. He meant that they won´t have any takers who could buy these things.
Sorry, here for me it´s obviously too complex to get one.
Apart from that I would have done that with pleasure.

greetings hribman
