Looks like the same unit. Of course, that is why you were asking the question in the first place. The specifications of the Compflo state filtration down to 35 microns; and the Scotts specs state filtration down to 35 microns. So according to the stated filtration claims, they should be the same. Except for the pricing, and that will depend on the vendor you purchase one (or the other) from.

Here is the link to the Scott's data sheet:

I run the Scotts in a couple of my Bergs and like 'em. But I also run paper in the other two, also. Kinda like a comparison test of my own. The stainless are cheaper in the long run, and if the specs are to believed, they do a better job too.

Seriously thinking of giving these a try. They seem very good value for £34, I can't find the Scott version for less than £50. Both filter to 35microns.

Beware, I ordered one and the thing didnt fit. It seems that it was not assembled right. The end cap was on a angle which made it too long to get the cover on. Its been 4 weeks and still waiting for a good filter.

The "only" difference is one is glued and the Scott's is welded.

I have a stainless JP filter and it is glued also, but I am yet to have any problems.
