So, I just finished installing the starter and battery on my FX600. I was really impressed with the ballistic battery that I decided to go with. It has good cranking power and the bike fired right up, after I figured out what the PO had done to the wiring that was causing the fuse to blow every time I switched the main switch on. Now I just need to live somewhere that doesn't have snow half the year. Cheers.

well then do not move to wisconsin

today it warmed up to 33F so i had to go out for a ride, really just a half mile up the road on basically a single track width of blacktop with snow on each side, another mile of slightly better 'walkpath' width blacktop/snowy roads to the highway where it was clear for a 3 mile strech between some wooded sections, i rode back and forth 5 times on the same 3 mile section of road before i headed back......would have rode longer but there is 5 or so houses there who i was probably annoying

The family and I are going to Hawaii in a few months. I keep telling them to change my ticket to one way!!!

Do you wanna do a swap.. snow for rain :D
we'll do house and bike swap.. a new twist to the film..holiday

I took to big girl out yesterday and let her play in the back yard, would not be too bad with studs in the tires. The temp got all the way up to 35 degrees f. Oh well! this weekend I am planning on a snowmobile outing that will hopefully keep me from going bonkers. Then the skis are coming out since the mountain has enough snow. If I could pull it off Timber Sled has a great setup for Bergs. Cheers. http://www.timbersled.com/snowbikekits.htm

Snow mud and rain sounds good, really good, it's been 110f in the shade here for a week.

-11 c when we started up the mountain yesterday for avalanche training. Then we put about 30 miles on the snowmobiles.

Minus 20C here today with winds gusting 60-90 km/h. I spent the afternoon in the basement with the berg happily wrenching until I broke the head off a wheel adjuster bolt. Grrrrrr :(

Seems hard to believe when your from Qld, Australia, if I hadn't spent time in Winnipeg in December I'd never think it was possible...blizzard season was insane....good luck with it guys, our winter riding consists of crystal clear days at around 22 C at midday with sunshine and usually little rain.....harldy seems fair, in fact I reckon for us, it's the best time to ride

Sorry guys

I'm also looking forward to summer season, but that doesnt stop me :) Its all about studs, lights and persistence (btw, thats my friends KTM stuck, my 570 is behind the camera).
