Re use of headgasket

Is it possible to re-use to headgasket, or is it just cheap and stupid ?
I have plenty of old gasket lying around.

i have used the same head gasket for at least 3 cylinder head disassemblies until it blew up this wednesday under acceleration with 5 gearn :cry: i will split it tomorrow to put a new one- i hope that it was the headgasket that blew up and nothing else !!!
 
it turned out wasn't the poor headgasket ! the flywheel key broke so the spark was entirely out of order! this was my worst ever failure diagnosis :D

although i did put a new gasket at the end
