After reading some recent threads I thought I would get a leg up on the summer heat and install a radiator fan on my 450. I picked up the KTM/Husberg kit and it looks straight forward. I thought I would post in hear to find out if there are any tips to make this job easier since the instructions are overly simple. Looks like I need to pull the right side radiator entirely to install the fan. Do I need to pull the tank to access the wiring or can I do this with the tank on?

any advice on coolant to use?
 
If someone's interested I still have a 570 fan kit it's for sale all that's missing is the thermo switch I do'nt want much for it;)
 
The only problem I found was locating the electrical connector. It was hiding right up inside the loom running under the tank. Otherwise all pretty simple.
