Rad Guard for FS650?

Hi All, Picked up my 04 FS650, had a few questions I wanted answering (if someone doesnt mind feeding the noob :lol: )

Ive had a good read of the owners doc, so most of it I understand but just the following I need a bit of guidance.

1. Rad Guards - Will a CRF450 guard fit with no modification?

2.Primary Crankshaft Gear - Thought to be a problem on the 04 FS650s? read the owners doc, but cant find what the actual solution is?

Been a while since I posted up, and if I am wrong somebody will set me straight, so here we go.

Rad guards are Husaberg specific, the CRF guard will need to be modified, not a bolt on, contact BOSS here on the UHE if you want some bolt on guards.

I believe the issue with the crank gear on some 650s is they were coming loose / not properly torqued from the factory, seemed like it was an Austrailia only issue if I remember right, and that is all I can remember on that. More than likely, if it hasn't happened yet, it's not going to be anything to worry about now.

ok great, thanks for the help! .... well the previous owner put a new donk in it in febuary to the tune of $5200 thanks very much, was done by a Berg dealer so all should be good lol... Im just trying to get my head around the bike as im new to the swedish beasts!

I use loctite 609 on the gear and 262 on the nut, there are better ones like 2701 or 630

last time i was in there I copied JBS racings setup
