First of all hello!!!

I've recently bought a 2001 400 and chuffin love it!! I mainly use it for super moto, but do have some enduro wheels as well.

But I have a bad wrist and struggle to get full throttle without getting a second hand full. does anybody do quick turn throttles for Husabergs?

Cord,

I am not sure if there is anyone who makes anything specifically for a Berg. I used to race CanAms years ago and they came standard with a throttle housing that had 2 settings...quarter turn and half turn if I remember correctly. Being a throttle junkie...I loved the quarter turn

What I am thinking is that you may be able to find a CanAm housing and tube via the internet and then have a custom cable built so that you can run it on your yellow beast.

That is my 2 cents....

Cheers

Maybe you mean the Magura throttle type 314, these could be set into MX or Enduro by mounting the tube different. I believe the 312 had the same but the housing of this one is aluminium, where the 314 was all plastic.

The Domino twistgrips on Husabergs from about '98 or so back had what Maichusa talks of. You pull the cable drum out of the twistgrip & flip it over to change the the cable displacement wrt twist angle. One way is marked "motox" & the other "enduro". You can tell these twistgrips as they use a slide for the 90 degree cable bend out of the grip - not a wheel like the later ones.

Not sure if the later bikes had this but I don't think so.

Spoke to Dave, from Dave Clarke Racing (main importer in the uk) and apparently the throttle from a KTM250 SX (I think it was SX) is the best way of doing it. Throttle is on order so I'll just have to wait and see.

p.s. Dave was super helpful and a mine of information.
