My name is Mark, and I live in the beautiful Keystone State. For our foreign counterparts on this board, that's Pennsylvania! Anyways, I joined here to get some information. Here in Pa, we race 270cc micro sprint cars. We run mostly 92-01 honda CR250's bored, stroked, ported, the whole nine yards. I've been looking into an alternative engine brand to honda and I came across Husaberg's new 2 strokes. I realize they're pretty much the same as the KTM's, but with Honda taking 2 strokes by the way side, our engines are starting to get fewer and fewer. Years ago, Eddie Sanders of ESR bought, and brought, the CR's over for racing use and that's how most of us got on to Honda's. They were reliable, and cheap. So my question is, how much does a KTM or Berg 2 stroke cost? Just the plain motor, no bike, no extras.
