A guy here tries to convince me to put QMI treatment into my engine. He tells me that all metal surfaces inside the engine will be as slippery as wet ice after a treatment.

He also says that it will not affect the wet clutch.

Anyone tried this stuff?

I would bet it is like Slick 50. If it is the same type of stuff:
DO NOT put it in your bike! You will have a non functioning clutch. I speak from experience with the slikck 50 in a kx500. They told me the same thing and I had to replace the all the clutch plates.

The same guy wanting to sell me the QMI treatment also sells Royal Purple oils.

He recommends both :?:

But as i can see from here, i need to replace the clutch after a treatment :? .

Then i don't think this is a good idea.

Thank's for replys.

Paul

I run Royal Purple in all my Bergs with good results. Clutch and sprag operation are fine.
