Has anyone ever heard of a pulse generator being intermittently bad?
I have a Fx 450 2010 that turns on EVERYTIME when cool but once it heats up it cuts out and will only kick but not turn over. LAMP is flashing 2 times, which manual says is the Pulse generator. Once cool (15-20mins) it will turn right back on w/o hesitation. When I prob the pins it reads about 106ohms. idk what spec is ..Help
- what are the specs for the pulse generator?( don't wanna order a part if i don't have to)
- My (car) mechanic friends swears its the ignition coil (even though their is a lamp code for it, & the bike isn't giving me it )
