pre-mix/self inject

Sorry guys ,,i know its not HUSABERG related but at least i own one,

does anybody know what the difference of oils are,,,
2stroke pre-mix
or 2stroke for auto lube(seperate tank for oil),,
just asking cause just brought my son a 2006 pee wee 50 and have heaps of fully synthetic oil(putoline) and wondering if i will have problems if i add it to the oil tank kand let it self inject. cause putoline oil container says pre-mix.

All I know is that I used the same oil in my kdx (pre-mix) as I throw in the snowmoible (injection). I don't see how it would make a diff.

i wouldnt have thought there would be anything different,,maybe when its injected into the crankcase is doesnt mix properly,,,wouldnt think that the oil should mix with the fuel,,,one has to be suspended by the other

Hey guys, as far as I know, the difference is the thickness of the oil. Injector oil is thinner so it does not gum up the injector lines and pump. It is common for people to remove the injection system on the PW50s, and rejet the carb for premix. There used to be kits for such a conversion, but I do not recall who sold them.
