so i thought this might be of some interest for people with pre 03 husabergs wanting to fit newer wheels from ktms.
last night i bought some wheels (26mm spacers) from a 2011 ktm they were talon hubs, ... and i made them fit without any money spent.
ok the rear wheel although being 26mm had a sleeve inside the hub to reduce down to 20mm spacers and it fitted perfectly with no extra mods.
the front needs spacers.... so what i done.
using the original front wheel spindle sleeve and spindle... the original rear wheel bearings seal and spacers,... with these parts all i done was trimmed down the inner spindle in length by roughly 2-3mm put the bearings in with spacers etc ... then bolt it up ... the orginal front spindle has w thicker part which went through the old speedo drive (no speedo used now) buts up against the rear wheel spacer snugly.
now i have converted the front.
hope this helps people in the future
