Hello Bergers,

I cannot seem to track down reliable figures for how much RWHP the FE650, FE550, FE450 put out (and their FS FX FG FK FA whatever brethren).

Does anybody have some numbers? Real numbers, not that:

"My 450 puts out 126HP now that I lube my chain".

Thanks.

I've wondered a bit about this too.

The best lead seems to be a Google Images search to start with - and then click through to the threads behind the dyno graphs: husaberg dyno - Google Search

The rule of thumb seems to be about 100 "Dynojet horsepower" per liter at the rear wheel :)

Edit - Where did you get that chain lube?

Cocunut Oil increase Front wheel HP by 36% (tested at 3400 ft above sea level).

The nice thing about coconut oil is that it's readily available in the tropics, so you can re-lube at any time. Simply tap into a coconut tree like maple syrup. Also, if you are running low on engine oil, coconut oil is a viable alternative, but experts do not recommend that you run you engine for more than 25 hrs with coconut oil as it will cause your water pump to become too slippery.

Additionally,

When used correctly, Vaseline is said to reduce brake disc temperatures by up to 40 deg C (again at 3400 ft above sea level). The reduction in disc temperature allows for faster acceleration (less drag due to lack of thermal expansion) and more braking power... the dreaded husaberg "brake fade" is now gone.

FWIW there is a post somewhere from Garry Connell aka gazza or safariberg who ran the berg raceteam for the aus safari showing 68rwhp from an 07/08 650 with some head work and an akrapovic slip on

Okay, even though it was an advertisement, Akrapovic used to have dyno results on their website years ago. I remember the 650 made like 61 stock and almost 64 with their full exhaust. I don't remember what the 550 and 450's made.

You can always search for posts at Supermoto Junkie, but take it with a grain of salt like the ads.
