please help my customer

i am asking on behalf of a customer of our shop.he needs info,i dont know it and he is not an online kind of guy.he owns a 1997fe 600.he disconnected the wires to the key switch to make some repairs .this is in his own words and i quote."i need the cross references for a keyed ignition 6 prong numbered key switch numbers 1 thru 6.wires are colored blue,brown,green,red,orange,and white.looks to be stock.he is asking for the number to color please.this bike is set up for street riding..please leave your thoughts and i will pass them on to our friend in the darkages.dan. :!:

according to a wire diagram starting with off at 12:00
1:00 blank 3:00 orange 5:00 blue 7:00 red (9:00 brown out, white in)
11:00 green
all clock numbers subjective to the nearest whole number

however on 1998 the pin out is as follows:
pin 1 brown, pin 2 orange, pin 3 blue, pin 4 green, pin 5 red, pin 6 white

Hi Dan,
Over the years I have unfortunately seen many variations regarding the Husaberg keyed ignition switch. Often the wiring schematic and actual component are quite different.

I would suggest your client seek the services of a professional familiar with motorcycle electrical.

thanx,for all the help!now it is up to the customer to put the puzzle together.he says electricity is not his specialty.cant say it is mine either.i am always amused as many customers seem to think i know all about this stuff when in reality i am just a peddler.dan
