Hi lads, thought you may like a look at my pit choppa project, the photo with the plastic cover on the seat is when we picked it up (free) not running and aparrently seized. Bit of fresh juice and a power drill straight onto the crank sorted it in no time.
Mods so far are debaged, de wired (lost the gay indicators, brake light, horn, fake cluster ect ect check out the **** hanging off the bars in the first photo) Lowered it 8 inches!! It looked pretty crook with the arse end up in the air. modified foot rest set up to raise it and push it forward, replaced bars with pushie gooseneck and a set of harley davidson ape hangers, installed new headlight-55w halogen, removed front brakes and revised side stand position.
Still to come is the 4 inch fork extension and sort out a proper throttle as im using a brake lever at the mo, the origional was way to small for the harley bars, then maybe a pressure pack paint job, thinking satin black?
It goes like a whipper snipper would which is probably a good thing since the frame was welded "out of whack", the dude in the sweat shop probably had the ***** on cuz his missus burned the rice that day. will post photos when finished. :pimp:
