Hello.

During my engine strip, i want to change the piston.

I cant figure out how to measure the piston, and what brand the piston is.

taffy, do you have this piston in stock?

I don't think it is a wossner? wossner don't put their codes on the outside edge. they put them across the middle of the crown of the piston.

under the middle of the piston, Wossner put a casting code that gets milled away but you can see some of the 4 numbers preceeded by a 'W'.

so: W3030

etc.

the 450 should have a domed crown and yours doesn't.

maybe it is a wossner but an early one. I think the piston is out of a 470 which means that it misses the head by miles.

I do a 450 piston for sure BUT I would run the bike with a flat piston but with perfect squish.

I can't imagine you wanting to ride without the higheest compression but I think the bike is too jerky with a HC piston in it.

I'd rather have a flat piston, DVSK, a jetting kit and the right KIND of power.

the 810 prefix denotes OEM piston for 450 so its an OEM piston and size is group 1

815 is 550, 820 is 650

the actual husaberg part number is

81030007000 I
PISTON I CPL. 100 MM 450 | 03 $253 at munn

measuring is done like this
