hello to all, i am new to this site and never had a husaberg before. my problem is that it needs some engine work along with some other parts for the rear wheel. i can not find parts for this thing, becoming very discouraged! it is a 1998, i think, it says sept of 97 on the neck. well anyway it needs piston and rings, crank bearings, gasket set and any other seals. i do have the repair manaul with part numbers but every web site i visit they start at 2004.are the parts compatiable with ktm? i would like to find a part source before i really determine what i need for sure. any help or info would be great. thanks. it is a 97,98 fc400

Check with www.offroadboss.com - Rick has a lot of parts for the older models as he bought the parts inventory from a former dealer who sold Husabergs back in the '90s (I bought my '96 FE501 new from them). You will need to call him as you won't see any OEM parts on the website.

I have looked at his site and he has a lot of great stuff but he doesn't ship out of the US. No money from me boss. Your loss.

although americans ALWAYS think this is an american used site there are infact at least 50% non-usa members here.

so where are you from?

I'm in the UK and will ship anywhere. I have a huge list of stuff I can get for you but some so called 'members' here are not exactly community minded with their advice.

I'm in Canada too and have ordered from both boss and taffy....have always got everything I need shipped quickly and economically. You need to call boss, taffy is very good with email.

Good luck.
