Whilst 99.9% of my posts are for Husaberg i would hope that you would agree to let me slip a KTM topic on the forum, im going to do some MX racing in the vets classes this year and i desperately need a KTM 450 SXF 07 or 08 onwards to slip my new SXF 505 engine into, i want a blown up one cheap if i can as i dont want to use the 450 engine.
I need the carby, engine mounts and exhaust etc,
I did find one 08 in Alice Springs NT which the locals rode without engine oil but at the last minute the Government stepped in with a taxpayer funded, interest free, never to pay back loan to fix it so i missed out and now im desperate to get something before easter. Please keep an eye out for me and im not fussy about cosmetics as i have new plastics etc.
Dont worry im not selling my Bergs i just need a bike to race that weighs a bit less. So if you walk into a bike shop and you see a dead one please ask if they want to sell it.
Thanks ORANGEBERG John

How about a nice 2004 FE 550 frame and I will throw in the engine and other assorted parts? :p

Freind just got a Cr500 rolling chassis on ebay for $700, shipping was $800 from the US

its a real ship I think cause its a 3 months wait.

how much $$$$$ for the 550 im still a Husaberg die hard and will fix anything, the only reason i want to run this 505 is because it has more power than a 450 and when we get to some of these tracks with jumps i need a lighter machine to stay with these you super x riders, when it comes to grasstrack moto cross with no jumps the 650 FC will roll out of the trailer and the 505 will have a day off. Its just the jumps and my old knees.
Plus i would have to run the motor upside down to get the drive chain to line up, who knows we could take the 70 degrees into the next stage. Im sure Bushie would help out with a cut and shut.
I need more info on the 550
