I don't have sound at work so I didn't here it. BUT, Dutch is a heavily *******ized version of both French and German. Every time they get conquored, they gain more words. I will be in my Dutch course in about 2.5 hours, as a matter of fact!!!
Notice the safety regulations in the video... definately 80's!!!

can recall reading a mag article some years ago about this race. the one on the film looks to be about 1990 from the bikes and i'm sure i read the article about 95-96 when the race was still going.
it was run in sweden or somewhere similar and as you can see the jumps were mostly made of wood and the bikes had slick tyres.
what i can recall is that the bikes also had to run on some fuel made from woods shavings, some sort of natural alcohol / eathanol type stuff.
never seen the film before though. wacky races!

That is some way wicked stuff right there. Looks like a blend of arenacross and supermoto.... I sure would love to see more of that kind of racing today, really gets the crowd into the sport I would think.
