sorry guys couldn't find the right oil level on the owners doc please tell me how much oil i should put in my fe550 07 :D

About 800 ml or so to a change. I warm it up, dump the oil, and lean the bike to the right to get it out. Put the fresh oil in, start the engine for a few seconds, and let it settle. Should be a few mm visible in the bottom of the sight glass when level and cold.

Go to my gallery and look for the TSB for the correct oil level for your bike.

I don't have my new Berg yet, however 800 ml seems like a minimal amount of oil for an oil change even if the old filter is being reused.

Here's the TSB for the last Generation motors' oil level.

And for the new motor:

For the last generation, 850ml is about right for doing an oil change with out the filter. One also needs to remember to kick the motor through 15 or 20 times with the bike leaning slightly left after most of the oil has drained out to get the oil out of the crank area and past the reed valve 01-08 motors. There can be a surprising amount of oil in this area. Follow the TSB for setting the oil level, don't just add an amount per se, put in what would be close and then work up to the correct level.

The same is true for the new motor. If you just dump in 1350cc's of oil, the oil level, at least in my experience is going to be too high.
