Yep thats the one....do you have any experience with it?? Does it work? Those lines look like they might get caught in the brush??

not much brush on a sm track so not a big deal, but I see what you mean. Asking for trouble offroad.

Yes offroad, do not mount it there !!

1) Mount it under the seat
2) use braided steeel lines

With mine the blue hose ruptured, the fliter got hit by a rock (I think) and the hose ruptured by a combination of fatigue, heat & force.

Under the seat and braided steel lines tucked in/up and back, its great, adds an extra 500cc or so of oil capacity

yeah maybe it would work....does it get enough air? Cool bike do you have any pics would like to check it out....thanks

Yeah it works fine, the main benefit is the extra capacity, but it does also cool though I haven't actually measured it though others have. I have had it on for just over 2000km offroad so far.

Some photos are in my gallery, but they show the oil filter inthe old location and the blue hose, I have changed this now

Yeah Grok, yours is a great setup, what I should have done with mine from the outset.

But its what it looks like now !!! :D :D

Hey thanks Grok, it looks like a better location!

Cheers!

Needless to say, make sure the suspension can sweep through the it's entire range of travel without contacting your new set-up!

Hey fellers. Nice to be here. I´m from germany and if been reading this site for maybe about a year. Now that i found this oil cooler thread i was forced to register. It´s a theme i´m very interested in because i´m going to attend a championship called "german monobike cup" next year and the oil cooler probably help me a lot to keep my engine staying alive on the long gp circuits.

Now if i´d like to order the oil cooler it would cost me a couple of taks (shipping/tax)and so i´d like to now for sure if i can use the original oil filter or do i have to use a joe racer what ever filter? That´ll be to expensive. Maybe you already wrote but because of my english skills i wasn´t able to understand. Am i right to say that the oil filter will be removed from it´s original place after mounting the joe racer cooler? That´s what "BOSS" already wrote. Which oil filter will i have to use in the joe racer filter housing? A smaller filter that KTM uses "BOSS" said. I thought they where the same. grok fabricated it´s filter housing that he can use the stock husaberg oil filter. Defenetly a wise decision. I was wondering how the oil find it´s way through the right hose. In and out. What is inside the motor instead of the filter?thx for your patience
