My question is a easy one i think . I have a 98 FE 600 which has a cheese head screw below the oil filler opening , which indicates MIN . I presume this is the lowest oil level the engine can run on . Is it save to run at this level or below , which i have on several times having been lost in the Australian desert . Once i think it was down 350 cc without blowing up . Or is it a quick chek for enduros to be sure you are running oil to last the race . Does any one know what it holds at the MIN mark . Thank you for your co-operation. Fellow husaberg rider dgavranich .

I always lean mine to about 10 or 15 degrees to the RHS & fill it till it overflows out the filler hole - kinda like filling a mower. I think it overfills by up to about half a litre. I haven't seen any problems as yet and the extra oil capacity is handy. Last week I put the bike upside down on the LHS (again!) & I reckon half a cup came out the breather while I was trying to check if I was still working properly. It still had plenty over the full mark.
