Got oil leaking from weep hole, was just a few bubbles of water but now oil
From reading earlier threads on this much discussed subject I understand that the water pump seal can be changed by just removing the pump but to repair the oil leak the clutch casing needs to be removed?:unsure:
Now here's my problem;
Not easy when the motor is in a road chassis!
Drain fluids, rad off, exhaust off, engine cradle off, engine out....I've just put it back in!
Is there anyway to access oil seal through the pump?
What are the consequences of just leaving it until time permits a full repair and if so did I read somewhere that someone fitted a small tube into the weephole to channel oil away?
The amount being lost is practically nothing during a race but it's dropping onto the exhaust!
Many thanks
