Are there any other guys out there that race both off road (enduro MX) and on road???

I see several kawasaki zx riders on the forum...

or this a unusual combination?????

just curious ;-)

funny: my husa has more than enough power, but the 175 hp of the zx10r not....

I drive fast but I have never raced. I just discovered dirtbikes after 18 or so years of street biking. Way more fun off the road than on the road, or maybe thats just because it's something new to me.

Hi Klaas,
i don't race on road but ride both on and off road, a quick change of wheels and front mudguard and a bit of suspension fiddling takes less than an hour............... in both guises my 650 has more than enough power.
Had plenty of road bikes but never a Kwak!

Road raced back in the mid '70s until I smashed myself up and had to get on with life Yoshi kitted CB500/600 and a Z1B. Took up dirt bikes in the 1990s Been a rider trainer since the early 90s teaching learners and doing licence testing through to track/performance stuff. Done almost 20,000km around Philip Island on the ZX9r as a trainer for example. The ZX9r is a great bike, comfy, and fast enough. I've got Ohlins kitted forks and WP kitted rear shock, including a hydraulic preload adjuster courtesy of Frank Pons/Biketek. I've also fitted a later model swingarm and less progressive link, so handling is good too. Bit heavy, but so am I. 160,000 km and most who look at it reckon it can't even have done 60,000km

Amen to that! Doesn't rail the corners quite like the GSXR but you can ride it for hours and hours and not have to go see a chiropractor either. I LOVE my ZX9R.

I've picked up trackdays, makes my Aprilia RSV feel well in it's proper element.

Major blast. :D
