o2 sensor.....what do I do with it on an afermarket exhaust?

Is it even used? Do I need to jumper it out some where? I got a fancy new aftermarket exhaust and need to know what to do with the lambda sensor.

Maybe take the bike to a dealer and get the ECU remapped to not use the O2 Sensor.
Then you can unplug the O2 Sensor.
I haven't done this as mine is a 2010 which came without the O2 Sensor. So I have no idea, just guessing :?
I think the EFI Light may flash an error code if you just unplug the O2 Sensor.

Here is some more info saying the US bikes did not use the 02 Sensor:
2009 FE570 (USA) Oxygen Sensor?? Remove??

Davo is right, you need the dealer to flash your ecu with the closed course competiton map. The hego sensor is only there to satisfy euro emission standards. I have had this done and it works very well.
