Howdy, 'Bergers!

Can't even blame it on middle-age craziness as I'm waaay past that, but the bug bit me and I drove down to Florida, bought the '97 FE400 that's advertised here & on ADVRider, and brought 'er home to Texas. doG help me - I haven't been on a dirt bike since June '71!

Watch out!
Bought an FE 350 -91 4 years ago and now i have 4 bikes in my barn and parts to keep my bikes alive for 25 years or so says my wife ;-)
They are poison those Husaberg`s just want more and more of them and drive them so often i can.
As long as my left leg is healty i will drive those kick start bikes.

Thanks for the welcome, 'Bergers 'n' 'Bergettes!
I hope to have a long and enjoyable relationship with the FE. Right now I'm rounding up bits & pieces to make it really street legal & a Dakar Dual Sport (KTM RFS '01-'05) is on the way with scheduled delivery on the 8th - looks like it oughta work. Unfortunately we've got more frigid weather coming so who knows when I'll get to it. Also, the busted water line prob'ly oughta take priority. :(

Hi, gcs!

I'm abt 50mi SSE of Tyler, in the Piney Woods. Looks like it's abt 240mi from Millsap. There's no open country to ride in over here but there are a lot of dirt roads and oil-tops, winding all over everywhere.

Well, Taffy, if it's a 23 year apprenticeship it most likely is a life sentence, and then some, in my case. :bounce3:

We are all thinking of going to red river trails this weekend,it's going to be in the 60's and it cant get better than that.

If that's by way of an "invite," would Red River Trails be, like, up on the Red River N, NW, or NE of WF ??? I don't have any plans for the weekend, aside from recovering from another couple of nights with temps in the teens, and I do have a new tent that needs breaking in. WF's sorta ol' stompin' grounds.
