hi guys seems like a got a bit of question here.

after all the episodes and more , i got the bike running,

set the valves , clean fuel , clean carb , new oil ,filter , airfilter , coolant.

when i started it it rann good after messing with the carb a bit and i went of after 10 minuits of riding , bike was running great .
i let it cut out and it just would not kick start , tried the hill start and that was ok , then tried a bunch of diferent adjust ments on the carb and it ran real well with 1 1/2 turns out on the main jet and 2 1/2 turns out on the nuetral jet.
does this sound right.

and who has a opinion ?????.

let me know what you know.

all the best . arthur

I don't know what year of bike you have. If it is pre 2000 and you have the vacum pump tank, make sure that all fuel lines are away from the heads and intake so it does not vapor lock when hot.

Your pilot jet may be a tad bit too lean. A lean pilot jet will hinder hot starting.
