Just thought I'd share some photo's from my good friend Johnno sent me. (SEE GALLERY ) He was on another organised tour when he collected a tree stump trying to dodge another rider passing some bloke.

It was hiding in the bush...just off the line apparently. He described the stack as a "slight mishap" I'd hated to find out what his version of a FUBARr is ? He snapped both knee braces, bent the frame, radiator might need replacing ( reckon ), punched a hole in the fuel tank & bent the rear subframe. All that carnage happened in a split second. Johnno has always sworn by his Daineese body armour & I now know why,he ran a tour the very next day ( albeit on a KTM250 EXC).

How to make a grown man cry....hand him the repair bill for this...

Cheers,

Wal

I'm not going to complain about my hole in the radiator again Wal !!!!!
It pales into insignificance really compared to that job !!!!
Cheers
Garry.

That is impressive - I hope I never come close to having a 'mishap' like that.

Looking at those pics, I'd say your friend Johnno is on tough summbitch! I'm glad he's ok.

Phwoar!!...
not a good outcome, but bloody lucky to be up and rearing to go again the next day (i can hardly move the day after a good trailride).

I wish a speedy recovery for the bike!

Azza.
