It is not that I do not like riding my Husaberg, but it is more down than up and guess what? Life is short. I want to ride.

I just bought Berger's Husqvarna WR 250 and I intend to hit the trails just about as much as I can. Meanwhile I will have the Husaberg looked over by someone who apparently knows his stuff, get the leaks figured out (which is my main issue), fixed the couple threads and then I will probably... just keep it and ride it as well.

Aha hahaa!!! Life is short...

Also I missed the smell of premix in the morning.

Oh you'r not getting off the hook that easy buddy! Once you ride a husaberg it will always be calling you back. Get those issues sorted and that Husky will start gathering dust. You are right though, life is short, so ride hard, have fun, but you WILL be back. Take care sir.

Yep, we've heard this story before... and they always come back with some sad tail about how nothing really compares to the Berg.

thank god somebody finally bought that thing  ken's ads were starting to get embarrassing. i hated to see him grovel. but don't worry, nic, you'll have the husky in as rough a shape as you did the berg in no time

Except the Husaberg is about the same shape I bought it in but ok thanks for the encouragement.

It was embarrassing, wasn't it

Down to one bike......today

Well, Eric, I am very perplexed by this site, because it seems that it had great potential, but it died circa November 2007, by that i mean that there have not been a lot of new posts since then. The registration process requires the admin to manually approve it, and so far he has not approved mine. Also they seem to have been censored by TT (no reference allowed there about HuskyTalk) for a reason I ignore, while this site and many others (like KTMTalk) are referenced accross the board on TT.

Maybe he lost interest or just disappeared, I don't know. Quite a bit of information there but you are limited to lurking.

You have the computer know how Nick. You could certainly start your own. I may even become a regular there as it looks like the new Bergs will not be street emmissions legal in California (I don't see a catalytic converter on them) like the new BMW's, Huskies or KTM's. My next bike must be street legal as I am missing out on too many restricted areas. I will always keep my Bergs though.

If the Chinese and Taiwanese can make their bikes meet EURO III EMISSION STANDARDS I don't see why Husaberg can't especially with KTM's backing and the fact that they already have EFI.

Well, seeing how Jason has gone nuts a couple of times because of this site, I don't really know if I would "embark" in this adventure...

wouldn't be a "very long drive"

I just had a look over there and see "aznick" as registered user.Is that you frog?

Hmmm? I'm perfectly content and in a happy place. I am a good person. I can appreciate all of our differences as chances to learn to do something in a new way.

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all

thanks,

I am glad you found the happy place, Jason.

And yes, Ford, that's me, as AzNick. It was that or LeStud.
