Went out for a bit of green laning yesterday, bike going well apart from backfiring on overrun and not wanting to idle.never had the problem before.I have stripped the carb down to check for obvious blockages, ie all jets etc.Bike will not now start.I found nothing in the way of dirt in the carb,I have a good spark, fuel in the bowl, compression but no matter what I do never a wet plug.It seems the fuel is not being pulled through to the combustion chamber.I have tried pouring petrol direct into the plug hole, carb intake, but still nothing. All I seem to get is a "slight" start, half a second then nothing.I own an FE400E,2003,110 hours, new stator, starter, battery, plug, lead, cap, well maintained.Apart from the backfiring on overrun and not wanting to idle the bike performed as it always has, well, any ideas...
