Hey guys, i was hoping sonmeone might be able to help me.
I have an 02 FE501e and when using the electric start the other day, I heard something go "clunk". Not liking the sound of it, I started the bike using the kickstarter and now the engine makes a loud clicking noise - the same as when you hold the kickstarter down after the bike has started.
To me it's apparent that the problem is with the kickstart assembly, but when I took the side cover off to have a look, everything looks ok. I thought maybe the spring on the kickstarter engagement key had come out, but that's ok too. When I re-assembled, the noise is still there so it looks like I must have missed something. Any ideas???
