I'm off to France in October and may take my Berg.
Trouble is, last time i was there, i couldn't explain to any of the French that i was intersted in Trail riding ... They all knew motoX and Foosball (football on a motoX bike) but nowt else.
How do i explain it please ...
Le Frog !! Can you help.

Post in English, someone will pick up.

I can send you to one of my husa-buddies over there, he just asked me if he knew of anybody who rides husaberg who wanted to do some trail riding.

No, it's not the #1 hobby, but where is it huh?

Email me your email address!

Oh hi !
I see you have an enduro bike ... Do you do trail riding ? Can i come along with you ? ....
Can you slow down a bit - i'm on a Husaberg !

Cos i look the double of your photo - she can't wait to get rid of me
Seriously though - you are correct.
Prior to our little addition i had planned to go back this year, but it was only up until last week she was saying 'no way Hose'.
It took one of my mates to ring me and ask if he could come for a working holiday as he and his missus were going through a divorce - you know ...change of scenery etc.
BTW its a working holiday in France, i'm rennovating a house out there.

PS. what a good memory you've got, it was 3 months ago when i posted the news of our little Freddie.

In what region will you be? It's much easier to ride trails south of the Loire river and in the East (Jura area).

In the plains it's all farmlands plus you'll be there during hunting season and they hate to hear dirt bikes while looking for preys.

Again, hit toolenduro.com and leave a message in English, say I am sending you there.

Hi Ya
I'm on the border of Charente 20 mins from Poitiers and 1 hour South of the Loire, a little village called Craon which is next to a larger village called Doux. However, as the house i'm rennovating has no roof, i wasn't up for anything serious just a local ride. It also transpires that the guy who is coming is not actually a biker whereas my previous planned companion was.
So even if i don't take my bike this visit, it is a plan for the future. And i will be sure to inform you when i do. You never know and here's my schemeing plan ....
A european trail ride !!
Each member plots a trail route to the next nearest members house, we stay there and move on to the next ...... the mind boggles as to how far we could go ??
Not for me yet though - i must concentrate on been a good daddy and cut the grass at the weekend !!
C ya

Not hard to remember things when you actually pay attention to and are interested in what other people have to say ady :D How is Freddie doin anyway? My latest is 21mths old now and fast becoming my worst nightmare! Sometimes i think i'd rather have a broken bike than another tantrum :?
Plotting a trail from mine to yours wouldnt be that hard ady but how we gonna get over the water... couple of barrels and some oars sound ok?

Ady, you are in a very nice area and I would recommend you rent a road bicycle and take the little roads. You'll have a lot of fun.

Hi ya Husadaddy / Le Frog
Rather naively i presumed all would be better after 3 months ...
Guess i got that wrong then !! :?
Were mangaing but needing a lot of help from the family.
so can't wait for France  soon chuck the push bike in the van !

PS. How to cross the channel .... no prob's. I can show you how to go under rivers. I'm experienced you may remember.

Ady
