I have no spark on my Husaberg FE 450 2009.
The "spark plug hat" was broken so I bought a new one but still no spark.
I Tried with a new EDI-box - still no spark.
New spark plug- No spark.
I have tried to measure the following steps from the repair manual (except steps that require diagnostic tool). Everything OK!
Throttle sensor
Fuel pump controller
Ignition control
Puls generator
Injection valve
I left it at my local dealer and the diagnostic tool said it whas a fail code for "fuel pump relay" This is placed in the EDI-box. Even after replacing the EDI-box it didn't work. After some work on the bike, it started. They thought it was a bad connection in a white connector placed on the left side under the fuel tank.
It worked one day and now I have the same problem again. I have tried to clean the connector so I think this should be ok now.
A strange thing is the FI-lamp. When i press the starter it blinks all the time (same pulse as the start engine.
When I remove the spark plug and press the starter it blinks for 3 seconds and then the lamp goes out.
Also when I remove the fuel pump connector it blinks for 3 seconds and then the lamp goes out.
Can someone please help me! I am out of ideas.
