Gentleman, I just bought a 1999 FE600 which when I called the dealer (I reside in Canada) they said they could repair and service. As it turns out they can ony get parts since KTM took over Husaberg in 2004. Can someone please help me out and advise where I can get parts? I may need a Stator and or CDI box. If I am going to keep this beast it would be nice to have a place to turn to.

Its strange how husaberg is working in Canada, usualy you can still buy all the parts from older bikes.

Your problem probably is the stator, but you have to be shure, so you have to mesure the stator.

From what I can remenber the 99 bike is the first year that turned arround the flywhell, but I think it was with the older stator, so please tell me if your cdi still is the small red one, or its the black digital one, so you can be sure about the values that you should get from your stator.

Then I will try to tell you what to do.

Hi

I've checked in the owners docs, and think the values for your 99 are:

- black + red -- 3000 ohm (+/- 10%)
- black + green -- 165 ohm (+/-10%)

You also have the yellows and blue, but those are for lights and bat.
If you have problems with the spark, its in those ones.

I can supply anything that is still available and some that isn't!

I'm the only one to repair CDI units and I do an exchange stator service.
