More tragic new's,

Our very own Brett saunders Aka (supermototeam)
has said good by today.I for sure owe this great guy alot!
It should be interesting to see were we go next.
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( you get the picture.
Maybe I could get him to come work for me!!!!

Thats NOT good news for sure. He sure stepped up and helped me when I had a problem. I would have to say he was a large reason for the brands survival in the western US.

Hope it was your decision .

Let us know where you land Brett.

It was great to have most of the top brass at BMG, including Brett, participate here at the site. Brett brought some personality to the Marque when it needed it most. Hopefully he won't stray too far. Good luck in your future endeavors Brett!

Thanks directly to Brett and Dan (motoxotica) I am riding a Husaberg right now. He really stepped up when he really did not have to.

keep us posted

More time to fish

When Josh Barrett brought me in to help him build the Husbaerg business, it was a real matter of pride for me to do the best that I could in order to broaden market for our bikes. I thank all of you for your enthusiasm, and for your support of the brand. Who knows, there may be a scenario in the not too distant future in which I'm involved with Husaberg again    Time will tell.

With regard to BMG / Dixie Sales, I must say that since Dixie Sales has taken over the business from BMG in Canada, many things have changed. I will not characterize the changes as positive or negative, I'll just say that for me personally, the corporate atmosphere is not what I'm used to dealing with.

So best wishes to the UHE, I'll keep an eye on you guys from the background ;)

Cheers,

Brett

p.s. - there's a really nice Dodge Sprinter on eBay with awesome Husaberg graphics.

total bummer
Brett and his enthusiasm to make Hbg grow is the reason that I chose to get another Husaberg, it gave me the confidence that the marque would grow and that there was importer support for growth. We knew this day would come, BMG is a marketing company and Brett is a marketing guy, marketing usually comes in pushes. Thanks for the push. Good luck with your next endeavor Brett.

husaberg needs willing and keen people , people who are helpfull .

thats a loss for husaberg as brett was ready to help , we need that here in AUS .

Ok, now I can say it. When I read the initial post earlier today, I LOL'ed thinking about you driving around in the Bergmobile... Like the two guys driving around in the grooming van shaped like a dog in D&D :D

You should consider a lateral move sir, like to VOR, Highland or Cannondale. Then you could just swap graphics.

thanks,
json

Oh Happy Day

Knowing what I do, such is good news. One often receives what is deserved and once again time proves a leopard is unlikely to change it's spots.

What I personally suspect the above to really say:
BMG (the real money making corporation) took control of Husaberg away from Josh which eliminated the phat buddy deal for Brett.

Be Alert

For what it may be worth and in my opinion:
Brett is a Hustler with a reputation. I knew of him and as such immediately questioned his Husaberg agenda. I was concerned . I expressed my concern to BMG only to be ignored by young Josh. Brett is indeed smooth as even I drank the tainted koolaid. When it came time to "do the right thing" Bret showed his true colors. Such was when I resigned from Husaberg / BMG.

I have been involved with Husaberg since 1993. I have seen many changes both good and bad. I have seen dealers and importers come and go. Regarding such, whenever the "main players" suddenly disappear, something "Big" has or is about to go down.

"Daddy...I can't stand to hear it...so many harsh words."

"Don't worry darling...we don't give a rat's azz about politics and opinions. We just like to ride fire breathing 4 stroke dirtbikes. "

"Daddy...what is an azz and is the 4 stroke the one that goes Wing Ding or Blah Blah? Can I have some Koolaid?"

"Slow down munchkin. One question at a time. An azz is ........"
