I have Taffy's jetting kit and the bike is running like a dream all the problems gone,it took a lot of perseverance for me as I'm no mechanic.
Got the 39 mm FCR m 2
limited the AP squirt 1"
158 MJ
Taffy's needle,clip position at 6 from the top
Taffy's PAJ at 1/4 turn out
PJ 32.5
PS 1 .1/4 turns out
With this setting the bike started immediately on choke ran for 10-20 secs and then started 8 stroking and was ready to leave the stables. I have made no changes after that.
The other week I went to start and it wouldn't start.I flicked off the choke and it started instantly.Now, from sitting for a week, It starts first flick without and choke and is ready to run without any retardation in 20 seconds.Not a problem just worried that this might have some long term detremental effects on the carb?
