Finally have bought myself a brand new FE550. After many hours of reading this site I decided this bike would be my best option. I am stepping off my prided DRZ400E, god bless it's cotton socks. Please don't tell me I have done the wrong thing? I have been waiting for this bike since I test rode one in 06. It was a split decision between the 525 and the 550, and here I am. I just hope this new bike gives me reliability and not the dreaded crap you here people say about berg's who don't even own one. Pick up bike from dealer next week. I am from Nowra in Australia.

for what its woth, i ride with two 525s and a 250 4t ktm, and my berg is more reliable and runs better than any of them.
you have to keep in mind that this site was founded because husyodaddy couldn't get his running and couldn't speak swedish. so most of what you hear is "how do i fix this?"
welcome to the fold. you now own the best kept secret in dirtbiking.

the DRZ is a very handy Trail Bike. I owned a 2003 DRZ S model.

YOU WILL BE VERY PLEASED with your FE550e

well i've never found out how the site started. json told me he did it to get rich quick and as they say "look where he is now!".

i only knew that json started the site but couldn't afford his own bike....
