Hi all, i'm the new guy in town.I've always loved the husaberg bikes but never thought i'd ever get round to owning one.I currently own a Honda Dominator 650 which i converted to supermoto and love it but this 'berg slapped me in the face and shouted buy me!!!! Well it was reasonably priced and it good order so i did.Still cant believe i've finally got a husaberg :D
Anyone got any good advice for me to keep this great bike in great shape? Cheers

Congrats on your 'berg...my first real bike was a FE 600E, which I still got :)

First, use you ears...if your berg start to make unhealthy noices, better find out why before things escalate.
Change the oil, and filter, often. If you start to think its time to check the level, it's really time to change it. Easily done to, one liter out, one liter in.
Check the impeller. I've changed mine twice, the metalpin that drives it makes it's way through the plastic and the impeller looses effeciency as it wont spin as it should.

And oh, try to get a 4-pot brembo caliper on 320 disc on the front there...then you add to the "handlebar-in-the-face" at throttle problem with the "saddle-kicking-the-butt" problem on the brakes ;)

I think that is close to the age of my bike, i had it on the road for 3 days before it went bang. (IF IN ANY DOUBT STRIP THE ENGINE) I can not stress this enough in the long run this will save you a fortune. I am hoping to have my engine back at home when I finish my honeymoon and have my berg back to life before the end of summer.
