Just bought my first Husaberg. 2010 FE450... Any advice, tips or things i should be aware of about this bike. I can't wait to try this bike out. I have been riding a Kawasaki's since 1994 and have been very happy with them they have always been very reliable and a pleasure to ride. But it is time for a change and the husaberg looks like a true woods weapon and geared for my riding style. I'm happy to be aboard and looking forward to here what you have to say about the bike.
Cheers

I tell everyone the same thing. There are 4 basic things I personally think these bikes need. Handguards, skid plate, rad guards and a pipe guard. Hand guards are a must unless you like broken fingers, skid plate because I've had two buddies crack their engine cases. But the factory one does a fairly good job as a temp. Rad gaurds because it cost more to replace a rad then it does to buy the guards. BPD are the best IMO, and a pipe guard because I don't like burning my expensive pants. And more and more I'm starting to think Rekluse Pro's or Core EXP's are must haves too!!.
Other then that go out and ride the bike and enjoy it, I love mine!

Thanks for the Info..and picking up the bike tomorrow, I got the hand gaurds for it and the map switch installed. All the articles i have been reading say this bike is a dream in the tight woods and tracks well.. I love my single track and I hope i picked the right bike for the terain i like.
