hi, I'm new to the fold, actually about to pick-up my new ,well 2009 run-out model fe570 with the dealer package of pipe, mapping switch, low fuel warning light and sticker kit, I've been riding a 2005 ktm 525 for the last 2 years, I'm expecting a pleasant surprise, question I have is this- - -Is there something i need to do with regard to normal maintenance that I would do on my old kato?? might sound like a stupid question , but all and any feedback would be appreciated. thanks johnd

hi johnd I just picked up the exact same sort of bike and rode 2 days in a row, didn't ride today coz I have atomic monkey butt, man you're in for some good times. How bout a ride report when you're done ? Dont rely on that fuel light coz I found myself sitting out the middle of the flat in a torrential thunderstorm outta juice waitnig for my mates to come back, and taking the fuel tank off is a pain in the butt
thanks for heads up on fuel light, Had 2n 1/2 hour ride yesterday and I only have 1 word to describe this bike so far AWESOME, can't wait for it to free up so I can really see how it goes,, It's currently taking pride of place in my lounge room, poor old 525 is padlocked up to the downpipe outside,

Yeah man wait till its run in and you'll never buy a front tire again ! I'm absoulutley stoked with mine I couldnt ask for anyhting else.
