Hey guys, first post!

Im going to look at a 11 FE570 today. 3k Miles. DIRT CHEAP. Catch is that at some point it was a theft recovery and salvaged. Salvage title, but the seller doesnt have it. Checks out on vin checks.

My plans are to tag and SM it. I've got a lead on a 09 390 frame w/ a clean title. Are they a direct swap? Anything specifically I should keep an eye out for other than the usual stuff? I plan on draining the oil on the spot to check for flakes. I'm no stranger to KTM bikes.

Frame swap no problem. Only thing 09 frames not as strong at triple clamps but unless your an expert jumping a lot won't it be a problem. 09 wiring is a little different has a sensor on header if can us the 2011 wiring harness. It will be OK the 09 harness with sensor. Mid pipe same on both years that where the sensor is... good luck your going to fun riding with it

I'd defo grab it! Seconding Rainerio overall. One small change that came in 2010 is that the fork yoke / triple clamp offset is different so if you get the yoke with the frame, keep in mind that there's a small difference there :)

(The change is that there's 2mm more offset in the newer bikes, so less trail with the same suspension setup point, or the bike sits lower in the rear and has a further-back center of gravity if set up for the same trail.)
