I`m sure this has been covered before but i`m after a new Stator for my FE400 2002.
This is my first Berg so a little unsure which way to go.
I`ve seen oem sem units,rewound sem units,exchange units,some guy called Sparks, Electrex units,Westcountry Windings that do similar units to Elextrex.

All of them seem to be of similar price.
Whice one do i go for :?: :?: :?:
Also what is involved in changing`re-timing these units? all the info i have seen relates to the Stator behind the flywheel but mine is on the side of the engine case.
